Do you have a phone number? Yes all guests who book with us are provided with our phone number. Please refer to the booking confirmation we sent you by email.
Why am I being asked to provide card details when booking? If your party size is between 8 people and 29 we need card details to hold your booking but please rest assured we are NOT charging your card. We are only taking card details to secure your reservation with us. If all of your party attend then no problem and nothing will be charged to your card. If you are going to cancel then you will be required to gives us at least 72 hours.
So why would I end up being charged £5 a head? You will only be charged £5 per person if the following happens:
- You cancel within 72 hours of your booking
- You don’t show up at all
- Less than 50% of your party attends.
Why have I been asked to put down a deposit? We ask that groups of 30 or more prepay £5 per person – this will be given back to you on arrival. If you wish to cancel or amend your booking we ask that you do so 72 hours before your booking commences to avoid being charged.
Can I take food off site? Yes, you can take food off site from Monday – Friday between the hours of 12 and 4pm
Are you wheelchair accessible? We are fully accessible for wheelchair users including toilet facilities.
Can I bring my baby/child with me? Unfortunately, we are not licensed to have any under 18’s onsite after 5pm. Before this they are very welcome.
Do you have high chairs? Yes, we do have some highchairs available, you can request this when making a reservation in the Special Request box or ask one of our Maître D’s on arrival.
Can I bring a Birthday Cake with me? Yes, but please let us know in advance! We don’t allow any other food or beverages to be consumed onsite – But we make an exception for Birthday Cake!
Can I bring a dog with me? Unfortunately, we don’t allow any dogs onsite. If you have a guidance dog, please contact us.
Can I bring my own champagne/drinks or food with me? We don’t allow any external food or drinks to be consumed onsite. We also don’t allow any food or drinks that have been purchased onsite to be taken off site.
Do your restaurants cater for gluten/dairy intolerances/allergies? Yes, but please make us aware in advance if you have a severe allergy as we will need to check with the restaurants if they are able to cater for this.
Is the site fully covered and protected from the elements? Yes, it is, we have a new roof on the top deck and the entire site is fully enclosed and covered.
Can I pre-order drinks? We take pre-orders for amounts over £100, please contact the reservation team to find out more.
Can I run a tab? We can run tabs but this needs to be pre-arranged. Please contact our reservations team.
What is the dress code? We are relaxed, you can come as smart or as casual as you like.
Someone in my party will arrive after our reservation time, is this ok? We ask that your party arrives within 30 minutes of your booking time, if you have one or two people who might be a little later please contact the reservation team and they will try their best to accommodate this.
You are fully booked on my requested date, is there any way I can get a table? Yes, we quite often receive cancellations so please contact us at email@example.com and we will do our best to accommodate you. Alternatively, we have walk in tables available on a first come first serve basis.
There are only two of us, do we need to book? We only take reservations for a minimum of 4 people; however, we do keep space back for walk in guests and we will do our best to seat you.
Can we extend our lunch time booking into the evening? We don’t generally allow for this as the demand is so high. Please feel free to email the reservations team and if there is availability they will adjust this for you. Alternatively, our Maître D’s can look into this on the day for you.
Can we hire either venue exclusively? Yes! If you would like to know more please email the reservations team who will be able to help you.
I have lost something at Pergola, who do I contact? Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to see if we have found you lost item
Do you have a cloakroom? Unfortunately, not, we hope that the sun will be shining so you won’t need to bring coats!
I have a suitcase/bike with me, do you have somewhere I can store this somewhere during my visit? Unfortunately, we don’t have anywhere to store large items.
Can I bring my child’s pushchair/buggy with me? Yes, but please try and let us know in advance and we will arrange for you to have a table with a little more space around it.
Can I smoke on site? Yes, we have designated smoking areas at both sites
Do accept Credit Card / AMEX? Yes, we accept Cash and Cards, Including AMEX.
Do you play music? Yes, we have background/atmospheric music playing
Can I park onsite? Unfortunately, we don’t have any parking available to our guests.
Do you serve Halal Meat? No, but we have a good selection of vegetarian dishes as an alternative.
How do I find you? Please refer to our “how to get to us” page, there are downloadable maps and directions.
What happens when I arrive? Please find your way to the Maître D station and they will direct you to your table and be on hand to help you with any other requirements.
Do you have waiters/waitresses? No, all the restaurants/bars are self-service.
What time is last service? We stop serving food and drinks at 10.30pm (9pm on Sundays) we require that all guests are offsite by 11pm (9.30pm on Sundays)
FAQ’s – where shall I ask my taxi to drop me/pick me up from Pergola Paddington Central? Order your taxi to Sheldon Square (w6 2py) where a security guard will redirect your cab to the other side of Pergola Paddington Central where you will be dropped off /picked up.
If you have a ordered a taxi, just simply cross our bridge on the top level and walk down the stairs and through the exit. Security guards will also be able to assist.
